The Azure Immersion Workshop: Data Modernization is an expert-led training created by Microsoft. It is designed to help organizations understand and practice how to modernize applications and databases with Azure.

The day is divided into two parts. In the morning, a guided lecture introduces the concepts and best practices for cloud migration. After that, the afternoon focuses on hands-on labs. Here, you will work directly with Azure SQL Database, SQL Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), and other Azure data modernization tools. This mix of theory and practice makes the experience both clear and actionable.
In addition, the workshop uses real business examples. For instance, you will learn how finance teams can manage compliance, how retailers can use customer data, or how manufacturers can optimize supply chains. These scenarios make the workshop highly practical.
