Data & AI at enterprise scale

For large organisations, the challenge is no longer limited to identifying use cases or deploying individual solutions. It is increasingly about operating Data & AI capabilities across large user populations, business functions and international markets.

FY26 was a significant year for My Data Works’s (MDW) Data & AI practice. Through our Microsoft partnership, we delivered 50+ Data & AI projects, served more than 100,000 new users, and worked across 42 markets.

These figures reflect the scale at which Data & AI capabilities are now being deployed and operated within enterprise organisations.

50+ Data & AI projects delivered

In FY26, MDW delivered more than 50 Data & AI projects for organisations operating in complex enterprise environments.

Enterprise Data & AI projects require more than the implementation of a technical solution. They need to integrate with existing data architectures, business processes, governance requirements and operating models while remaining sufficiently robust to support future development.

The ability to deliver across multiple projects and organisational contexts therefore depends on a consistent approach to architecture, data management, security and governance.

For MDW, the delivery of 50+ projects in one fiscal year reflects the scale and maturity of our Data & AI practice and its ability to support organisations from initial requirements through to production environments.

More than 100,000 new users served

The scale of Data & AI adoption is also measured by the number of people who rely on the resulting capabilities. In FY26, the solutions delivered by MDW served more than 100,000 new users.

At this level, adoption becomes an operational consideration. Data quality, access management, performance, security, governance and user experience need to remain consistent as usage increases.

This is particularly relevant for enterprise organisations, where a Data & AI platform may need to support thousands of users across multiple business functions. The architecture and operating model must therefore be designed for sustained usage rather than for a limited initial deployment.

Serving more than 100,000 new users in FY26 reflects the transition from individual Data & AI initiatives towards capabilities embedded within broader organisational environments.

42 markets served

In FY26, MDW supported Data & AI initiatives across 42 markets. Organisations operating internationally need to maintain common standards for architecture, governance and security while accommodating differences in local processes, regulations and organisational structures.

This requires a balance between centralised control and local requirements.

For enterprise Data & AI platforms, international scale therefore needs to be considered from the beginning of the architecture and governance model. Scaling an existing capability across markets is not simply a matter of replicating the same deployment.

What FY26 demonstrates about enterprise Data & AI

The three FY26 indicators measure different aspects of Data & AI scale:

• 100K+ new users served demonstrate the ability to operate Data & AI capabilities at significant user scale.
• 42 markets served demonstrate the ability to work across international organisational and regulatory environments.

Together, these figures describe a practice operating beyond individual use cases and deployments. The next stage of Data & AI adoption requires capabilities that can be governed, maintained and scaled as part of the wider operating environment.
